Outlook Express Setup

 

Step 1: Open up the tools menu and click "Accounts..."

 

Step 2: Click the Mail tab then click Add then click "Mail..."

  

 Step 2: Enter the name you want people to see when they receive email from you.

 Please note that this in NOT your email address, just the name that is displayed.

Now click "Next"

 

  

 Step 4:  Click the button for "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use."

Enter your email address provide to you by Squire Lane Web Hosting and click "Next".

  

 Step 5:  Change "My incoming mail server is a ____" to POP3 from the

drop down selection.

Enter your domain in both the "Incoming mail" and "Outgoing mail" boxes. 

Click "Next"

Note that you leave the "www" off.

 

 

 Step 6: Type in your email name in the Account name box.

Enter the password provided to you by your administrator or by Squire Lane Web Hosting in the Password box. 

Check the "Remember password" box.

Click Next.

There will be one more page after this.  The "Congratulations" page. 

Click the "Finish" button on this page.

 

You are now finished setting up your Outlook Express client and are now ready to send and receive emails from your new account.   Should you have problems, please verify that your email name is correct as well as your password.   If you have any further problems please contact service@SquirelaneWebHosting.com.
